CHINA'S V-DAY MILITARY PARADE LARGE-SCALE PHOTO EXHIBITION

2015-11-02

On Sept.3, 2015, China commemorated the victory of Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War by holding a military parade for the first time at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing. As the national photography team, Xinhua News Agency assigned 108 press photographers to record the grand and magnificent scenes of the parade. The exclusive soul stirring photos and the little-known behind-the-scenes footages record the great moments comprehensively from multiple angles… Each photo can arouse emotions and make people feel the power of peace. China International Culture & Image Communication Corporation held the exhibition in cooperation with the Photographic News Department of Xinhua News Agency, selecting more than 100 photos including the grand V-Day parade on-site and many splendid moments behind scenes, reproducing the epical military parade.

The purpose of holding the China V-Day Military Parade Photo Exhibition is to make people of all ethnic groups have a deeper understanding of the importance of the victory of the war 70 years ago to China and the world, to commemorate those martyrs who advanced one after another and shed their blood on the battlefield for the victory, and to always remember the great contribution the Chinese people made for the defense of national independence and freedom, the national sovereignty and dignity of the motherland, as well as the great contribution to the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War.
